Groundhog sees his shadow
Edited on Mon Feb-02-04 08:19 AM by RatTerrier

Official Groundhog Handler Bill Deeley holds Punxsutawney Phil up for the crowd on Gobblers Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, February 2, 2004 after the groundhog made his annual weather prediction. The groundhog reportedly saw his shadow during the 118th Groundhog Day celebration, which means there will be six more weeks of winter. No word on whether he saw his right breast as well. 1. Are you sure the poor animal didn't look at Karl Rove?
That is enough to scare anything to death!

3. There was a rumor that Dick Cheney was going to "Phil in" for the 'hog...
since he appears in public just as often and loves forecasting bad news.

5. But do you really think he's
be able to get time off from Halliburton to take on this enormous job?

I do believe you have found Cheney's calling, however!

4. Punxsutawney Phil has teeth just like Jon Asscraft or Novak!
Punxsutawney Phil however, has a far more advanced brain than either of those other two animals that I mentioned above!

6. How Does It Work? If He Sees His Shadow...
then it's six more weeks of winter. But if he does NOT see his shadow then spring arrives in six weeks.

Is that it?

10. Either six more weeks of winter or six weeks until spring
Which all sounds the same to me.

BTW: Said rodent predicts six more weeks of winter.

7. What if you were stuck in one place,
and every day was exactly the same,
and nothing you did mattered?

"That about sums it up for me."
