2. I hate getting up at 5am however....
my masters (that would be the cats) decree that 5am is my wake up time (even if they aren't hungry).......

7. Of course the cats have their own wake time, I had a cat like that.
She had one great internal clock, she wanted her wet food at the time.

3. I get up between two and three thirty.
The early, early morning is my favorite time of day.

But if you are a night person, I can understand how that could become a true living hell, getting up that early.

4. A true living hell is right, I usually don't go to bed until 6 am or so.
I am really tired right now, didn't do anything all day but be lazy.

In a few weeks I have runoff election to work, another 7 days of hell.

10. Don't call it being "lazy". Work has to be balanced by Recovery.
My entire family seems to feel guilty about not "doing" something at every moment and that mentality has really ruined our lives.

Don't be hard on yourself for taking time to be silent, quiet, to meditate, do yoga or whatever your passions are. Those are the things that keep us sane and alive, and make life worth living.

That is a rough schedule you have. I hope things settle down for you. But never think of yourself as lazy. I could recommend some great sports psychology books and tapes that address this sort of guilt.

17. Thank you so much.
I stayed up and running until yesterday's election, but last night I just hit the wall.

I just slept and watched TV all day.

my commute on my scooter is longer now, that's the time I must get up. Oh well, before I had my scooter I took the bus to work. I had to get up at 3:30 and catch my first bus at 4:20AM, this to make sure I got to work by 7AM!!

Oh the joys of public transit in St Louis MO!!!!

I love my scooter! Even when it's cold I'll take my scooter over the bus.

13. That sounds like Metro here in Houston.
I have been thinking of getting a scooter.

How is the traffic that early in the morning.

I had almost no traffic when I left the house at 5:45.

11. I work nights in my real life so I get off at 6 or 7 am.
I just couldn't get to sleep until about 11 pm and only with sinus pills.

12. I actually love it!
It's nice and quiet and the only time of the day I have totally for me. It feels like I'm the only one awake in the whole world and all is peaceful. I usually go outside for a smoke and when I do, I've seen meteors and the space station overhead. It can be quite exciting sometimes.

Now, it's the 3 a.m. potty call that keeps me from going back to sleep that irritates me!

14. I had a hard time staying asleep without taking sinus pills.
Otherwise I would wake up every hour on the hour.

I did enjoy the quiet and the night sky, the full moon was beautiful.
