Need an Injection of the Postive
Edited on Mon Nov-05-07 11:31 AM by Liberalynn
World and U.S. Political events too many too list, the world climate, my extremely nice next door neighbor's cancer has returned after being in remission, my damn left knee is killing me. I have a headache, I'm tired! My favorite TV shows will be missing now due to the writer's strike in Hollywood! Other than Ghost Hunters, whose season is ending this week, and HGTV, I loathe reality shows. Though I totally support the WRITERS and not the dumb ass networks. So no aide in distraction from that arena.

I know election day 2008 is now only a year away, but we stil really don't wake up from the national nightmare that is Dumbya, until inaugruation day, Jan 2009, and even then there's no guarentee, that we won't get another mean moron.

All these things have left me feeling like crap. Sorry for the whine, whine. I feel like staying in bed and hiding under the covers.

Need some positive things to think about. Please tell me again why there is reason to have at least some hope that it will any of it will get better?

1. Go dancing.
Just do something totally mindless that makes your whole body feel good.
Everybody needs a reprieve now and then.

I haven't played any of my CD's in awhile.

5. It was the first thing I did after I dropped the kids off, this morning.
I put on this:

and danced around while I cleaned up from breakfast.

2. Well, I could come up with about 100 lame platitudes
but the simple truth of it is that worrying about everything all the time just takes up too damned much energy.

Remember to be good to yourself, and to find bliss in every day.

4. Good point about the energy drain.
The worry is probably adding to the exhaustion and as for the bliss at least today, it's cooler outside, and that is the way I like it.

6. Go to your car and look for the "+" sign on the battery.
Get a basin of salt water, step in it. Attach jumper cables to the battery, attach the "+" side of the other end to your RIGHT arm, drop the "-" side into the water and LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Just trying to be silly. Not feeling exactly "smiley" this morning either.
