"WAR" the series by Gwynne Dyer: anyone have a copy?

It ran about 10 episodes, and was the greatest anti-war series I have ever seen. Stupidly, I didn't record it.

1. I read a book of his. He states that Australia/New Zealand could

bring Iran to its knees by not exporting millions and millions on lamb to them. Seems Iran is not lamb self-sufficient.

2. I don't know anything about a miniseries but I've read his book "War"

and I thought it was very good. Good luck in tracking down the television program.

I remember that series when it was shown on CBC -- brilliant. Also liked his other documentary, "Anybody's Son Will Do", about how new recruits are broken down and retrained to kill.

Seems it is tied up in hopeless copyright hassles. Pity. Always thought it was one of the best anti-war treatises ever aired.

The series was without parallel in the genre.

Because it's an older series, the chances of it being re-broadcast in its entirety are lower -- but a lot of the episodes function well as individual films, so that's what they might do.

I'm now crushed that I know it's unavailable. Gwynne Dyer is a treasure. His book War: The Deadly Custom is also fantastic.
