I want it!!!! I want it bad!!!!!!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=kj0UZjrSVLA

ulti-touch interface: The revolutionary technology that made iPhone a hit is now on one amazing iPod. This 16GB iPod touch lets you control everything using only your fingers—simply by using the flick, tap, and pinch gestures on the multi-touch display.

Advanced display: The 3.5-inch widescreen is perfect for watching movies and TV shows as well as viewing photos and album art. The display automatically adjusts the view when it’s rotated from portrait to landscape. The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness to match the current lighting conditions.

Built-in WiFi: The iPod touch features built-in Wi-Fi networking and three amazing applications that let you access the Internet, view YouTube videos, and purchase music wirelessly from the new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store.

Internet access: Safari lets you view web pages just like you do on your computer.

Music: The new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store allows customers find, buy, and download music—all from your iPod touch, over a Wi-Fi connection. This 16GB iPod touch holds up to 3,500 songs.

YouTube: Apple’s YouTube player launches right from the home screen and lets you view YouTube videos wherever you have a Wi-Fi connection.

Cover Flow: Just like iTunes, Cover Flow displays all the album art from your music collection an easy-to-navigate interface that mimics a CD collection. With the swipe of a finger, you can move between album covers. Simply tap the artwork to start playing the album.

Movies: This 16GB iPod touch holds up to 20 hours of video.

Photos: Use the multi-touch display to easily navigate through your collection, zoom in or out, or rotate photos into portrait or landscape mode.

Sleek design: iPod touch packs all of these features into a design that’s just 8mm thin, easily fitting into your pocket, and ready to go anywhere.

Long-lasting battery: Although thin and compact, the battery can power up to 22 hours of music playback or up to 5 hours of video playback.

Requirements: For the Mac: USB 2.0 port, Mac OS X (v10.4.8 or later) and iTunes 7.4 or later. For the PC: USB 2.0 port, Windows Vista or XP Home/Professional with Service Pack 2 or later and iTunes 7.4 or later. iTunes can be downloaded free from www.apple.com.

14. If your computer died in two years you'd be bullshit
iPods sound great, work great but are built like crap. Just like Mac Notebooks.

19. Computers cost far more than iPods
so yes, one expects them to last longer than 2 years.

My iBook is over 3 years old and works perfectly.

5. Don't you have a job? Don't you have family? Don't you have a life, or a hobby?
Christ, I hate to sound like an old fart, but don't people have anything better to do, than to live their lives around DOWNLOADS?

8. If I didn't live my life around DOWNLOADS ....
I wouldn't have my fabulous job and would probably only be able to find work at the local Dairy Queen. (smalllllll town)

So NO, I don't have anything better to do --- unless it's repairing the routers that keep the downloads going. ;) But - I guess that's still living around downloads then, isn't it? :D

12. Well, some of use take public transportation to school and work..
Personally I like to be able to watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on the hour long bus trip to school. And I can check my email from anywhere on campus. Or just browse the web while I grab a cup of tea between classes.

18. I have one
It is the BEST thing EVER. No lie.

I've had mine for two weeks now and I love it. To me, the hardest thing to get used to is the touch-screen keypad, but within a few days, I was typing quickly. There's a typo-correcter that is REALLY good to help with messy typing.

The internet is amazing. A normal browser, with decent speed even on the AT&T system and extremely fast if you have wireless access.

The TV/Movie/Video component is fabulous...crystal clear picture and larger than the classic video iPod screen.

Honestly, I'm thrilled with it. If you have any questions, let me know!

24. I don't care about the hype. I think it might be pretty useful.
I don't like cell phones but I think I like that. I need more information from users to decide.
