I have a cell phone question

My cell phone is capable of taking photos and videos. I have found that component is not user friendly at all. It takes forever for me to figure out how to take a photo, and on the rare occasions when I actually pull it off I then have trouble figuring out the save option so that I can retrieve the photo at a later date.

So why is it I can't figure out how to intentionally take a picture without reading the manual, opening up my razor and pressing a complicated series of commands, but when I am driving my car for a few blocks my cell phone has no problems activating the camera feature without my intervention, then snapping and saving 57 photos of the interior of my pants pocket? Ever seen the inside of my pants pocket? It's dark in there.
