Dammit! The James Bond collector sets are down to $35 each.

I bought two for $40 a few motnhs ago, and got two others when they first came out (at $60 ea).

Still, been over a year.

1. I've been buying the movies individually

they are now about $6 a pop.

That way, I get only the ones I really like.

2. The only disadvantage to buying separately...

You don't get many of the extras (like old TV documentaries, missing scenes, interviews, etc.). Or at least that's what it seems.

Most of the extras are pure filler (rebundled clips from the same damn movie already there), but there's some good stuff in there.

And the restorations look great on the ones I've seen in the new releases. "The Man With The Golden Gun" instantly became a fairly watchable movie, and a damn good looking one too, though they should have gotten rid of the hideous slide whistle effect on that awesome corkscrew jump. "Diamonds Are Forever" also doesn't look quite as ugly as past versions.
