Mind you, I work some strange hours. After spending all day working at the local Women's Shelter, helping with women trying to start their lives over again after years of abuse, I then come home at night and work the midnight shift on the local 800-helpline, helping distraught people get their lives back on tract.

All this work and finally I can get to sleep around 6am and perhaps sleep til around lunchtime until I start this busy work cycle again.

Can I get some sleep? NOOOOOO. Some dumbass with a lawnmower and leafblower has to start up first thing in the morning.

I'm so :boring:

1. Dumbass! Maybe if I didn't have to work three jobs to support my family
because Joe Biden screwn us with his bankruptcy bill, then I would be out there!

Sunday morning is the only time I have to do it, between 7-9am before I go to work.

:grr:

2. Hire a service and spare everyone the BS and the noise!
Those leaf blowers run at 120 decibels! :) Pretty damn loud!

4. Like I said, I gotta work three jobs just to put food on the table
and pay the rent. Cna't afford the service! The mower and blower are ten years old!

5. Did you miss the part about three jobs?

Hiring a service probably isn't an option.

7. There are plenty of teens around here that would do the job

after school for $20 bucks. ;) this guy isn't working two jobs
and I see him getting home, everyday, for the last 6 years @ 5 PM!

He's not hurting for $$ at all. ;)

In fact, a yard service would cost about $100.00 a month; maybe less.

8. Earplugs are your solution
I work nights, sleep days. Earplugs and eye mask allow me to sleep just fine. People can run mowers, blowers, whatever. Doesn't bother me a bit.
