8 PM tonight-"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/2007/10/30/2007-10-30_whats_on_tv_tonight.html

8:00 p.m. (ABC) "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." This "Peanuts" special was televised for the first time in 1966. Yet it not only still works, but also, somehow, still seems fresh. As the first "Peanuts" special to be televised since the publication of the controversial Charles Schulz biography, it's a chance to see, once again, how the cartoonist's spirit and humanity emerged so strongly from these animated Charlie Brown specials.

PBS 8-9 has American Masters with a very interesting look at Charles Schulz.

2. "There's no such damned thing as the Great Pumpkin, Whinus!"
You'd be hard-pressed to find anything Schulz that's NOT a timeless classic.
