Well, this is it...
I'm packing up the last of my things before I go to bed... and in the morning I'm going to be driving across the country.

Gonna be a two day trip, no way we're gonna make it in one. Thankfully I've got an aunt who lives right about on the halfway point, so we'll have a free place to sleep. :)

This was a rather weird day. Not only did I manage to completely flip my sleep schedule around by 12 hours (up until today I worked the night shift.), but somehow when I went out to do some errands, the traffic flow kept forcing me to go in the direction of places I used to live or work or whatever. So I kept ending up going to various old stomping grounds without even meaning to. :P My old apartment complex looks just like it did when I left, with the exception of the shiny new roofs. That's courtesy of the three major hurricanes that hit central florida right after I moved out. And my last job... well that's completely different. New owners, everything's been upgraded and made shiny and new.

Because I kept getting sidetracked, I'm a little behind where I wanted to be in my packing. I've got just about everything except for my computer and my old clothes packed. The old clothes I still have to go through and figure out what I'm keeping and what I'm tossing. And maybe I'll set some aside for Goodwill or something.

There won't be enough room in the van for much furniture, so I'll end up giving most of it to my parents. All I'm taking with me are some of those rubbermade stackable storage things for my clothes (much less bulky than my antique dresser that's been passed down for gods only know how many times), and my computer desk. My dresser, bookshelf and bed are all either staying behind or going to my parents' house.

There isn't internet where I'm going, so I don't know how long it will be until I can get it set back up again. Hopefully not too long. I have one of those Vonage internet phones, so without internet I'm COMPLETELY cut off from the world. Not just no email and web surfing, but no phone either.

If I don't get back online before then, my birthday is on Guy Fawkes day (also the same day Doc Brown invented time travel). :)

Well, I gotta get back to work... so here's a quick halloween link.

Now there's nothing left to do but :hi:

Am I nervious? :scared: A little.

But what are ya gonna do? Life changes.

2. With my internet addiction, I'm sure I'll check in right before I leave in the morning...
I'm planning on making my computer the last thing I load in the van. :)
