Batman fan? Script for new movie "nails it!"
Yeah baby! Folks, the script is the real deal! Years ago, when Blade came out, I read an interview with David Goyer in which he said that he would love to do a Batman film. Well, he’s done it and he’s gone beyond the call of duty. God bless Warner Brothers. Simply put, Goyer fucking nails it! This movie will definitely reinvigorate the Batman franchise. Warner’s finally got their shit together. They got the best comic book writer working in movies today to lead the charge! I was full of fan boy glee as I read this script because I am a huge fan of the Batman Comics.

The writer has a proven track record of (ahem) "obtaining" accurate shooting scripts.

I'm pretty sure this is the real one (though always subject to change)

5. They had the last Star Wars script...
Daredevil, Timeline, the Tim Burton/Kevin Smith Superman script (now defunct), among others.

4. Will this one be a REAL "Dark Knight" movie?
I'm sick of all the old Adam West parodies that have come out on the silver screen.

7. From the advanced word on this film, this seems like the real deal

I always thought the 70s Batman (Denny O'Neil/Neil Adams/Irv Novick/Dick Giordano) was the coolest of all anyway. This was when the comics were trying to distance themselves from the jokey cartoony Batman of the 1960s, which is exactly what the movies need to do.

So we've got this script, the Memento guy directing it, Christian Bales as Batman and Michael Caine as Alfred. Looks bloody awesome from where I'm sitting.
