I need you all to understand something.
"Flavored coffee" IS NOT COFFEE. So when I ask if you'd like a coffee and you say, "Oh, I have my pumpkin latte,", THAT IS NOT AN ANSWER. You have a HOT MILKSHAKE, is what you have.

"Flavored coffee" is an insidious toxic disease spread by the devil.

That is all.

With CINNAMON. They have them at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts both right now. My whole goddamned office smells like nutmeg and whipped cream all day long this season.

If people eat a piece of pumpkin pie, they KNOW they're cheating on their diets. But if people get a spiced fucking pumpkin latte, they can say, "Well, it's only coffee."

Of course, when they can no longer fit into their pants, they'll be wondering why. Straight off the Starbucks website for the spiced pumpkin latte:

That looks pretty fucking good, actually. :D

Husband and I were in Boston this past weekend and I had a 1 and 1/4 pound lobstah for $14.99 at the Purple Shamrock off Fanuiel Hall. Probably a tourist trap but that lobster was damned good. :)

Saturday night we watched Game 6 at Charlie's Kitchen in Cambridge - that was a whole lot of fun. I love Boston!

So often they smell like all of Nirvana and Heaven combined, an entire universe of goodness condensed into 8 oz. of liquid goodness.

And then taste like some of the worst shit the universe ever shat.

29. When I become ruler of the universe...
In my world, there will be a fast lane in every coffee shop/cafe for those of us who just want coffee. There is no reason why I should have to wait in line for 20 minutes because the person ahead of me wants something frothed, shaken, latted, spiced, whipped and sprinkled. That's just not right.

I don't understand how people drink that sludge.

Take the caffeine out of it and most people would not touch it, any more than they'd drink 'low alcohol' beer.

37. I agree, in spirit....
But I do treat myself to a skinny mocha with whipped cream every Saturday morning.

Similarly, Vodka + Vermouth + Olives (and perhaps olive juice) is NOT a Martini. It's not a bad drink, but it's not a Martini.
