Beef w/Bill Maher, concerning Kerry & Botox.

I was watching a replay of the Friday night show when this thing came up. He displayed a "before" and "after" photo. This is where I have a problem. The "before" photo showed an obvious outside background, with a mostly cloudless sunny day. The "after" photo, was apparently indoors with an extremely dark background. People fricking squint when they are outdoors!!!!! Maher made a comment concerning it looked like a 60 year difference. Then the "liberal/progressive" tried to draw the distinction of well if he lies about botox, what else will he lie about. Frankly, it pisses me off. I am not a huge Kerry guy. He is not my candidate of choice, at this point. I am just so annoyed by these b/s "before" and "after" photos. I don't know if he did it or not, but dammit, it doesn't matter all that much...Kevin.

2. One thing about Maher....

He'll offend you eventually no matter who you like or what you believe.

He pissed me off last week so much I boycotted him this week so I didn't see the Botox stuff.

Unfortunately his routine got old and boring a long time ago. If I can't laugh at Ann Coulter it's not really worth it anymore. At least he doesn't try to pretend he's unbiased....I give him credit for that anyway.

Chin up. He'll move on to someone else before you know it.

4. RW Toupe Census

The botox issue is a flakey issue - especially when one considers the awful toupes that march through the halls of congress. Helmet head Trent Lott was the overall winner, but the Repubs more than hold up their share of the acrylic head hair crowd.

They should really drop this one.

and I think he was simply pointing that out.

I believe his question to the panel was something like are we at the point where something like this could actually cost a man an election?

And soon thereafter he had the entire panel agreeing that the media, and everyone else, needs to lighten up a bit on these guys. Or that we are to hard on them anyway.

Did you see the country song in the intro about weapons of mass destruction program related activities?

Now that was some seriously funny shit!

And he addressed the AWOL issue with Moore and someone from Kerry's campaign. (can't remember his name, awful late here.)

Anyway I saw it and wasn't at all offended by it. I came away felling pretty good about it actually.
