So, do you like to leave your body and just go sailing?
I've been interested in OOB (or the new acronym, OBE) for most of my life. Even before I read Robert Monroe's first book, Journeys Out of the Body, at the tender age of thirteen, I had often involuntarily experienced the vibrational state that supposedly enables separation from the body. Not knowing what it was, I just assumed it was a funky type of lucid dreaming.

Later, having read Monroe, I tried separating, but was always stuck to my body by the head. Try as I might, I could never get the friggin' head loose. I haven't tried in years, but I recently read Monroe's last book, The Ultimate Journey, which was pretty wild and phenomenal, and I'm itching to give it a try once again.

Any travellers out there?

1. No. but if you get it figured out, let me know.
I've always been interested and have had great success with lucid dreaming in the past, but no success with OOB stuff.

3. yep
I've had two experiences, both just happened.

I've also read Monroe's books to try to figure out the experience.

4. Just one experience in my early teens, but I have never been
able to "will" myself into the state. Would be cool to be able to do it whenever you wanted to.
