4. The touch is usually off
They're making the new keyboards really surfacy and hard to type on for someone who grew up on a manual typewriter. I like the keys to have some depth.

5. It's weird enough going from work to home keyboards.
Add a brand new one to the mix?

6. due to my 'spill' history, I bought a $5 exchange policy w/CompUSA
anything happens, they'll replace it, no questions asked

I think it was 5 bucks.

I only use ergonomically correct keyboards. I can't believe PCs don't come with them as standard. Anytime I use the typical keyboards, I feel like my fingers are all crunched up together.

7. The trick is to find the closest key dimensions
Personally, I love new keyboards, they're like breaking in new cars :7

8. When I switched the the ergonomic keyboard...
I was so mad at myself! I hated it with all the hate I could muster. I almost tossed it out my window several times, but my girlfriend(now wife who talked me into it) said to be patient, and then one day it all clicked. I love it now and hate having to use a regular keybard. My wrists get sore and my hands feel all crunched up.
And now we have the cordless logitech keyboard and mouse and they rock!

9. I don't like the new kind of plastic-bubble ones.
I have an oldish (1998) sturdy one I use for home, one of similar vintage and sturdiness that I was using at work (yes, I brought my own keyboard to work because I couldn't stand using one of the little cheapie ones), and three more of even more ancient vintage in the closet, in case any of the others wears out. I like my kbds fairly clicky, that don't feel like you're typing on bubble wrap.

Don't even talk to me about so-called "ergonomic" keyboards, because they only work if YOUR dimensions conform to THEIR ergonomics, and I have substandardly sized hands...cramps! cramps!
