I've adopted a shy kitty.
He's a four year old siamese and has been in cat jail for a couple of month now.

I would show you a picture of him, but I don't think he'd like the camera just yet.

He's still very scared and hiding in the closet, but purrs and kneads the floor when I pet him.

I still haven't thought of a name for him.

2. Name ideas...
Some Thai words I found

Sabai: Happy, and even more so means comfortable, relaxed or well...more akin to tranquility

Ruk: Love
Naruk: Lovable

Sanook: Fun

3. He'll find his name
After a while, you'll find that you call him something more often than other things. Something he does that you find endearing, some quirk of personality, even a goofy accident might become a nickname which will be his name. It'll happen :-) Any name will be good, when called with love.

I think I'm going to go to the used bookstore to visit the kitties. There's a new one who is gray and so ratty-looking that she's cute - all giant head and big eyeballs and wild gray fur sticking out in all directions, and a bent little tail that looks like a question mark.

4. Used to know a Siamese cat named Sambuka. People who adopt kitties are wonderful.
I love cats... and animals.

6. Congrats on your new baby
We just adopted an 8 week old kitten from a young girl who takes animals in and cares for them until she can find them homes. She did a great job on this one. He is so sweet and lovable. He slept with us last night and was nuzzled under my chin the whole night. It was so cute. Of course I slept all twisted and kept waking up but he is so worth it.

He is traumatized a right now so we have to be very careful with him. I have two dogs and two cats so he is freaking out a little. We've only had him a couple of days.

He is a grey haired tuxedo kitten. He is gorgeous. We named him Joaquin.

I will posts pics when I can too.

:)

7. i don't think you'll be disappointed
my family has had two male seal points in my life (both named max). they were both rescues and, while skittish at first, grew into two of the most loving kitties ever
