4. Brady hasn't peaked yet
Though his perfomance in his last Super Bowl was nothing short of phenominal.

That being said, Favre at his peak is one of the greatest ever. His only real detraction is that he's a hot head and sometimes doesn't think things through. Though his arm is one of the best the game has ever seen, didn't he once break his reciever's hand with a pass before?

5. Daunte Culpepper.
Edited on Sat Jan-31-04 04:01 PM by EXE619K
Run and Gun....just like Favre.

"Fast and Furious"....

Can "level" a LB at full speed.

on edit: Okay, so he's been a bit inconsistent for the past couple of years...so what?

12. Best in the past 20 years... Dan Marino
Just because he didn't win the super Bowl (Fah-HA-Ha! The Dolphins SUCK!!!!) doesn't mean he wasn't one of the greatest ever, he's right up there with Montana.

14. Michael Vick hands down!
The guy can throw and run. He's bright and is a proven leader.
And just think, the San Diego Chargers had in #1 draft pick and traded him away to Atlanta.

25. I agree.
Okay, I will admitt, I am hugely biased. I am a long suffering Atlanta Falcons fan. But I will throw it out there anyway. Sure, at this point, Vick has much to prove. At times, from what I have seen and that is all of his pro games. He has an arm, as strong as anyone. He has a release as quick as the best. His accuracy can be incredible. If memory serves me correct. The 2002 season, in a game against Pittsburgh, in the fourth quarter, Vick kept drives alive with 3 first down completions on 3rd and +20 yards. Also, the guy has the drive and modesty to work his butt off to be the best. Oh yea, I didn't mention his scramble, or escape-ability. The dude has been dead to rights, so many times, and he just hits the jets. His first regular season game, in 2003 after a long lay off because of a broken leg, he still out-ran guys. Vick is an incredible athlete, and striving to be the BEST QB EVER. I think he will acheive his goals, and will go down as one of the greatests QB's in the NFL. Again, though, I should say, I am a Falcons guy...Kevin.

19. If want QBs past then IMO John Elway was the best.
He brought his team to 5 SBs (losing 3).
If i had to choose one to take my team downfield under 2 minutes with the game on the line, he'd be my choice.

28. Slight correction
Terrel Davis took that team to two of those super bowls, though Elway was the deciding factor in the last one.

Let's not forget who handed John Elway and his team their ass on a platter in Super Bowl 24. Montana owns the Super Bowl. 4 wins in 4 chances, and 3 MVP's.

I'd have to go with Donovan McNabb. If he had recievers that were any good he'd be in the big show.

27. Donovan McNabb is one of the great quarterbacks, IMO
Donovan took the Eagles to the NFC Championship for the third consecutive year!!!!!!!! He set a record for rushing in a playoff game.

Brett Favre is great too, IMO, but remember McNabb beat the Packers in the playoffs this year, which proves a lot, and Tom Brady did not take the Patriots to the AFC championship for 3 consecutive years.

(PS, Mike Malloy had choice words for Tom Brady, calling him a right wing stooge for Bush. Mike hopes the Patriots find doom today)
