Poll question: Best ever Saturday morning educational programming
That was a bit of a stretch, wasn't it? Some of these were probably in fact on Sunday mornings; my childhood was a long damn time ago.

This was actually inspired by Christopher Glenn, still doing newsbreaks on CBS Radio all these thousands of years later.

This poll was brought to you by your very favorite general, General Foods. (If you don't get this reference be glad. This means you aren't middle-aged.)

1. Beakman's World
But I don't know if it was a "Saturday morning" show in its country of origin.

5. D'oh! How did I leave him off?
I learned a lot from him, like how to persuade Daffy that it's duck season. FIRE!

3. Many good one -- I can't pick.
I loved "Make a Wish" "In the News" was great -- they did great NASA stuff and all of the School House stuff was great. I am sorry, but I just can't choose -- only wonder why we can't have these now.

4. Lots, Christopher Glenn was the best
I watched "In the News" without fail. It's because of that show that I became so aware of the wider world. Linda Ellerbe continues that tradition today with her show in Nickleodeon. I forget the name of her show, though.

Also Bill Nye the Science guy is great. I woke up early on Sat mornings in the 90s just to see him, and I was in my 30s! :D
