What was the last great Star Trek Show?
For me, I am going to go with Deep Space Nine. I know that Berman was essentially in charge on this one. But I still thought it was a great show. I was addicted to it during the last 5 seasons.

So what's yours?

Best there ever was..

TNG was incredible too, and I think for the best trek experience you need to seeTNG and then Ds9..

But watching DS9 from 1st episode to the last is an experience I'll never forget.

(reading the relaunch books now over 10 of them)

Q: "-Picard never hit me!"
Sisko: "-I'm not Picard"

You just don't mess with the Sisko!

I do think Picard was the bext Captain, Sisko a damn close 2nd though.

I think the Top brass thought Sisko was mentally unable to cope with big stuff after Wolf 359.. that's why they put him on a station in the middle of nowhere

4. There was something about the later seasons of Voyager...
that I think held on to what Star Trek is all about. I think Gene would have preferred this series to one dealing with a long drawn out war...before that, Star Trek would get to the brink without ever actually going to war. In the end, peace always prevailed.

7. DS9
Improved with each season where as Voyager & TNG faltered towards the end.

Ds9 focused on supporting characters and made a more well-rounded show.

8. VOYAGER!!!
I'm a big Voyager fan. I think it's the one that most captures the vibe of the original show.

I am fully aware that I am in the minority on this one.

I've always completely disliked the "Next Generation" characters. (not the cast, the CHARACTERS.)

15. DS9
They fumbled a few times the war with the Klingons and Worf/Dax but they still did great shows. Voyager was alright, but they could have done a lot more. Enterprise, ugh.

On DS9 they had Ira Steven Behr, Naren Shankar and writers like Robert Hewitt Wolfe to moderate Berman.

16. DS9 for me too
I seriously want a series of DS9 movies made. Especially with the word being that Berman is out. While I loved TNG, the movies have been hit or miss with me, usually in the same movie too. They still haven't done TNG justice in the movies. I still think the final episode of TNG is better than any of its movies.

19. There was good and bad from all incarnations
but, on the whole, Voyager was not that good, and I'm still rather down on Enterprise...

So I'll say DS9, which I loved.
