Scumbag ticket brokers price-gouge for Hannah Montana tickets.
The unabashed and shameless greed of some people just astounds me. Say what you will about Miley Cyrus or her show, a lot of kids love her, and a lot of families would love to attend the concert. Now they can't, because of evil profit-hungry brokers. The article describes the prospect of sold out venues with empty seats because noone can afford the tickets.
My little sister is a huge fan of Hannah Montana, and my mom paid quite a pretty penny to get them tickets to a concert. It'll be a wonderful experience for the sister, but I feel bad that mom got basically ripped off.
Greedy bastards.

1. I totally agree
Even without the damn ticket gougers (I refuse to call them brokers - that implies legal activity) the tickets for such events are often too high for families to be able to afford them.

14. Well, you DO get to see half of American Hi-Fi with that ticket purchase.
Or at least 1/4 of American Hi-Fi. Their lead singer is the drummer/musical director for the tour, and I believe the other guitarist from Hi-Fi is also in the band.

7. They ought to look into TicketMaster fees while they are at it.
I guess we don't do monopoly busting anymore. Does it really coast $14.00 in fees for a $25.00 ticket? I mean really.

It's ok, I'll buy you a ticket, I know how much you want to go. Consider it an early Christmas present. ;)

13. Anyone cornered Miss Montana herself on this point?
Has she publicly opposed it?

If not, I have to wonder about her worth.
