Bigfoot.
I have been fascinated with the idea that there IS "something" out there. I have never seen anything myself. I have heard some pretty wierd noises out in deep woods, before I moved to AZ, that gave me the creeps, but noises in the deep woods will do that.

I would be interested to know what others here think. Any first hand encounters? People you know who have had one maybe? Interesting stories?

I WANT to believe.

2. The Sad Truth
is that the man who perpetrated the hoax died last year in Washington. He made a Death Bed confession and showed the press the "big foot" that he used to make the impressions.

In any event; it is against the law in Washington State to shoot or harm a Sasquatch.

Frankly; I think that the hoax is the hoax.....

( I also saw flying saucers over Hanford, WA when I was growing up in the '50's)

5. I read that somewhere.
The thing that gets me, is that ...OK, this hoaxter...sure, he was just that. That doesn't explain all the reported sightings and prints and evidence from all over the USA, and for that matter, the world.

I know there are alot of interpretations of the "patterson film" also.

Now, I'm not saying anything one way or the other, as far as what conclusion can be had from it all.

It does make one wonder though.

I believe humans have a better "perception" than we excercise 99.9 percent of the time. There have been times in the woods where I have gotten "the willys" along with 2 or 3 other people at the same time, but for no obvious reason.

I wish I had the wherewithall to get geared up, and go sit in the woods where some folks say are high activity areas, and try to find the answer for myself. I would love to have a close encounter. Even a vocalization. Its pretty weird, there are a few web pages that have vocalizations sent in by people from totally diffeent areas. They sound an aweful lot alike. And they sound real.

Who knows...

4. the interesting thing about bigfoot
is that he turns up in different cultures around the world... in nepal he's known as the "yeti", in the pacific northwest he's the "sasquatch", in florida he's the "skunk ape"...

here's a list of native american names for bigfoot:

6. Momo
From Missouri.

A Bigfoot was recently seen in central Pennsylvania.

Do they exist or not? Who knows! It's an interesting folk tale, though.

11. if my feet were smaller
they would be hobbit feet, but they are size 13 and 13.5. I think maybe I could qualify as a juvenile Bigfoot. (everyone always says I am juvenile, that must be what they mean.)
