1. What part of Iowa do YOU go to?
I've been there for Xmases in the past several years, and there is barely powder on the ground. NOAA is saying this is going to be a warmer-than-average winter, BTW. In other words, have hope. You may need only one parka.

3. The lovely cities of Cedar Rapids, Des Moines and maybe Iowa City
I've been to those places in the summertime It was hard for me to imagine what they'd look like blanketed in snow.

5. In January, it will be prettier with snow than without....
However, up in MN we haven't really had much snow until March for the last couple of winters, so I wouldn't count on it if I were you.
