City bans smoking in some homes

Ok I understand.... being an ex smoker this doesn't bother me anymore....It use to , I would be enraged.....
I do think to many rights are taken away....

I am not sure that I can agree on the ban to Condos and town houses...

usually the people that live in these places own them....
how can you tell people what to do in their own homes??? while they pay taxes???
I know this is a controversial subject... but I'm just wondering what else they won't let me do in my own home..... I know most of what I do is not hurting anyone else like
supposedly second hand smoke....

I really don't see the problem here though. It's just in multi-unit apartment housing. This does not apply to private single homes.
