Tomorrow, the president of my church (denomination) is going to Washington,
to deliver 60,000 signatures on a petition to end the war. So far, the White House hasn't responded to requests for a meeting.

4. They have 60,082 signatures
which is fewer than they had hoped for. I haven't heard if they've gone to the White House yet. There's nothing new on the website.

3. Go UCC! If I hadn't found my liberal United Methodist congregation
I would probably have hooked up with a UCC church here. University UCC and First United Methodist are the most liberal churches in our area and both quite activist on social issues and stuff.
