Bug-repellent break in the Yankees-Indians game.

The gnats are really bad right now, but it was pretty freakin' funny, watching all the players spraying Off all over themselves, each other, and the umps.

:spray:

6. Wait, are you talking about the game on now?

That's Yankees-Indians, not Angels-BoSox. :D You had me so confused. :D

12. The Yanks and Sox played each other a million times this season,
it seems; I think that's where the screw-up came in.

My gawd, those bugs are insane!

5. They've been dousing themselves with insect repellant, but to
no avail.

4. None of those nasty gnats here in NY
They should have played in NY and enjoyed this bugfree Indian summer weather.

13. I don't mean to be a stereotypical environmentalist (although I am an environmentalist)
but maybe global warming has something to do with this grossness. I hate both teams playing but I don't wish bug attacks on them.

14. I was thinking about that too.
Especially because it's so warm there right now, and it's October.

16. It kind of does, doesn't it?
I would HATE to be in the middle of that bug storm.

The trick is to keep your mouth closed.

21. Emergency supply of goggles and nose plugs.
Your head might explode, but then again half of the Yankee's already know what that feels like...

17. This is the goddamndest thing I've ever seen in a baseball game. It really DOES look
like it's snowing! How those pitchers manage to concentrate is beyond my ability to comprehend.

18. I don't know how any of the players can concentrate.
The weird thing is that they have all put bug repellent on, and the bugs just keep at them.

The bugs are apparently Canadian Soldiers, a kind of flying ant.
