Has anything like this ever happened to you?
Friday, I went had four new tires put on my car - I was about 10,000 miles overdue for at least two of the tires (last time I had tires put on, I only replaced the front tires).

Did a bunch of running around on Friday, nothing too out of the ordinary. Friday night, the family piled in the car for a night time trip to Disney.

Saturday morning, I went out to the car, I had a meeting to attend and went to back up and the car just felt boggy. Thought that something had been put in the way of backing out of the garage, so I get out of the car and look and find that my right rear tire is flat.

&#$%

AAA came out, tried to pump up the tire, but it was leaking too fast, so they changed it to the spare.

Thank goodness for warranties. Drove back to the tire place and got a new tire.

1. My dear KitchenWitch!
Nope, I've never had a new tire fail like that!

Yes, thank goodness for warranties...

Let's hope that's the end of that problem, sweetie!

2. Apparently I ran over a nail
Shredded the inside wall of the tire.

3. Goodness, every time we get our tires balanced and rotated...
we lose a hubcap. Every time we get new tires we get a flat. Cosmic thing?

Sorry it happened to you!

4. I actually found it amusing
I am glad it happened to my car and not my husband's. He was ready to take some heads off at Firestone. It was no big deal to me.

6. Yep, I had a new tyre go flat on me.
Not as new as yours; I'd had mine on for a few months. But it still shouldn't have gone flat. The puncture was on the side and there was no evidence of a nail or something having done it. It was just defective.
