Still, it didn't stop Ben Elton and Queen recycling it as the plot for their awful-sounding musical.

82. I love the classical influences...

My dad says I was introduced to that sort of thing early by a friend of his who was a huge moody blues fan.

I loved Fallen and The Open Door is good, though not quite up the first, imo... I saw Evenescence live at Bumbershoot some years back and was VERY impressed. Amy Lee has a tremendous voice and comes across live just as well as canned.

65. Tough to choose but here's a bunch

for starters, no greatest hits, which would include artists ranging from the Beachboys to the Four Tops to Marty Robbins. No live , which would include James Brown Live at the Apollo, Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads, and every Springsteen bootleg I have...Not that much soul either due the best stuff in the Motown/Stax etc. heyday being singles oriented although admittedly Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye challenged that successfully; and The Temptations With a lot Of Soul, Wish It Would Rain, and Temptin Temptations stand among the greatest albums---- so after the two I listed in above post, I think the Doors first album for #3...
