The squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?
I've been trying to get this job and I was on the right track. All I needed was to get my references in order. One of my supervisors said that any potential employers could call her in lieu of providing a letter. Well, the potential employer contacts her and she says that while she told me she would give references over the phone, that she needs my written consent. So I write something up and fax it, but now I'm having a hard time getting a hold of the potential employer. I'm really mad because I feel my ex-boss severely delayed the employment process for me. Anyway, now I'm hoping that my persistent attempts at contact with the potential employer will get me some kind of response. What a burn :(
