Salt Monster

Marina is my type of woman with Terry Ferrel close behind but I have to admit the salt monster has me curious.

Did you know, Marina was a contender for the role of Dayna in "Blake's 7" (1980)?

11. Yeah, but Orion Slave Girl Vina was just a fantasy of Pike's
Marta was at least "real."

Speaking of Pike, South Park gave a nod to Star Trek in the episode with Miss Claridge's electric wheelchair and having to communicate by beeping one beep for yes, two for no.

Officer: So, Trent, you just had to finish off your old preschool teacher, eh?
Trent: No! They did it!
Cartman: Trent Boyett is a liar, sir.
Officer: Ms. Claridge, did Trent Boyett do this to you?
Ms. Claridge: (two beeps, indicating no)
Officer: Yes! Yes! Take him away!

4. Call me weird... but Jeri Ryan has never really done anything for me.
Nice figure and all... but for some reason she has little to no effect on me. Maybe it's just because the character was so damn boring and was basically just put in the show as a walking pair of boobs to try and up the (mostly male) viewership.

On the other hand, Teri and Marina's characters had some background and depth to them, and Jolene... well, I may usually prefer women that aren't quite that thin, but in her case I'd be willing to make an exception. She's frikkin' hot. Looks much better with long hair than she does on the show.

25. William Ware Theiss
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Ware_Theiss

Nominated for the Academy Award for Costume Design three times.

The "Theiss Theory of Titillation", which claims that "the degree to which a costume is considered sexy is directly proportional to how much it looks like it is about to fall off" is named after him.

<snip>

Another famous Theiss costume proves the point, namely character Carolyn Palamas' outfit in the episode "Who Mourns for Adonais?": a low-slung skirt and an upper portion which, although carefully engineered, looked like a length of cloth attached above the right hip and casually draped over the left shoulder.

Marina Sirtis was sexy about three plastic surgeries ago. Looking your age is sexy. Loving yourself is sexy. A powerful woman is sexy. Or she's kicking my ass. Or both.

Plastic titties are never sexy. Let's try and remember that.
