Adventures at the pharmacy...
I needed some Sudafed this morning so I went to the pharmacy since, obviously, Sudafed is the stuff responsible for the destruction of countless lives and must be obtained through the appropriate channels.

:eyes:

There was some sort of issue with the customer being helped at the register, and the man in line behind me was having an absolute conniption about having to wait five minutes to be helped. He was grunting and cursing and whining, and trying to get me to agree that our situation was some kind of incredible outrage. He said he was retired and not in a hurry, but it was "ridiculous!" that we had to wait. I was getting embarrassed because he was making such a huge scene.

When I got up to the counter to get my 'fed, some woman came barreling over in a highly flustered state and interrupted the cashier and I because "the blood pressure machine is NOT working right!"

Then, someone puked in the aisle near the band-aids and neosporin.

It was too much excitement for me.

:P

4. Lol!

Last week I saw someone kicking the toy crane in the entryway.
It's the season. People know winter's coming and they're preemptively flipping out.

"They're over on that aisle, by the neosporin and the puke."

8. I guess if you're gonna hork,
the pharmacy is the most logical place to do it.
Disinfectants and all...

23. True.
Maybe someone, somewhere is telling bizarre stories about the girl who went on a verbal tirade about the "idiotic rationing of Sudafed" at the pharmacy.

:D

10. I do love the retired guy "who was in no hurry"
Good grief.

I got yelled at by an old man yesterday at IKEA because I had my cart with my stuff parked next to me in the snack bar while I ate, and he was not watching where he was going and ran into it. Mind you, my cart was parked as close to the table I was eating at as possible, and was not blocking the aisle.

And that generation yells at us about personal responsibility...

15. There is an elderly gentleman in my town
who seems to drive around a lot, because I see him frequently.

He has this bizarre habit of pulling out in front of people very suddenly, and then driving reaaally slowly. I've seen him do it several times. It's annoying, but at the same time it kind of amuses me, because I KNOW he's going to do it.
He's a horrible driver.

22. Quite possibly. We once had a man in town who
lined the walls of his home with aluminum foil, due to some issue he had regarding the government or aliens or something.

Or so I've been told, anyway.

more than one kind of medication with pseudoephedrine in it.
