Just caught the season premiere of Family Guy.

I also liked "Well, stay here and rot ya stuck up bitch!"

Good stuff. Lotsa good stuff.

1. I violated my Fox boycott...
...and watched the show, as the Internet preview looked so good.

Apparently, that's where most of the humor went. Family Guy seems to be a frustrating mix of snappy, witty lines and unfunny cross-references. It got pretty dull toward the end. If I'd ever seen the series before, and had come to care about the characters, perhaps it would have been more fun.

"Stay here and rot" was pretty great, and the couch? Bliss.

the chair up against the hatch of the Falcon
