when it rains, it POURS...
Last night I was also diagnosed with Shingles.

I had what I thought was just a bug bite of some sort, but after a few days it kept getting worse, and more painful so I went to the doctor and he was shocked to say that I have shingles. Apparently I am such an overachiever I got it 30 years early...

Anyway, I am also on anti-viral drugs, some lotion and ibuprofen to dull the pain. Even through all that, the pain gets through.

Also, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure...

I am told though that this will hvae no long term effects on me or my future plans.

re-awakening of chickenpox virus in your body. To get shingles, you have to have had chickenpox at some point.

3. I have not had chicken pox. Did they prescribe BP medication?
Diovan for me. I hate doctor visits.

4. Not last night
I was scheduled for an appointment with another doctor for the HBP. Last night was Shingles night...
