Don't you love it when you NEED a certain pair of shoes and you walk into the store and find the perfect pair?

Yes, well...my love for all things Steve Madden continues to grow. I just bought these to go with a newly-purchased charcoal pin-stripe skirt:

but it seems to be THE thing this year...nearly all of the winter shoes had some sort of strap thing going on. :shrug:

11. My feet broke out into a cold sweat and the big toe joints screamed when they saw those.

I am so jealous. Anything over a 1/2" heel is torture for me. Dammit! I could be such a shoe hog if given half a chance. Beautiful!

You should see the shoes I have on right now! I refer to them as my "lawyer's day in court" shoes. In other words, massively high heel, pointy toes...and black, of course.

I spend all summer in flats, sandals and flip-flops. But for some reason, in fall/winter, I'm all about the painful shoes. :shrug:

Nekkid with chipping OPI "Suzi Sells Sushi By The Seashore" nail laquer on the toes. I'm afraid to take it off to reapply because the non-acetate remover might mess with my pink and white acrylic fingernails. I am so high/low maintenance.
