Has the flu season started early this year? I usually get my flu shot in early October. But I woke up last Wednesday barely able to walk because of the weakness and muscle pain. Days later, while I have minor respites I am still mostly sick and bedridden. Worse yet, my boss is 8+ months pregnant and I am wondering if I am contagious. Does anybody have the scoop on flu season this year?
but I just had to call into work last night because of a really bad stomach flu that just came out of nowhere. I'm fairly certain I got it from my brother, he and his girlfriend were complaining about an upset stomach when I saw them a few days ago. They thought it was from his cooking. :P
...for whatever it's worth, my company is offering free flu shots this year, and we're getting 'em a month earlier than last year. Last year, I had to pay seventeen bucks.
