4. The funnier thing is the same group in a Victoria's Secret.

5. Apparently "I was just at a lesbian wedding!" is considered a defense for public drunkenness in some cultures. Bonus points if you exclaim this at a sober person who was also at said wedding.

6. By law any road map of rural New Jersey must look like two FSMs humping.

7. As a consequence of 1 and 6, I eventually got a police escort to my hotel.

8. The more eager you are to get home, the later your flight will be.

10. Haruka's mom mut have got pregnant in her early teens, because she looks maybe 35.

11. If I ever suffer a head injury and decide to get married again, I'll hire PacifistPatriot to officiate. She's awesome, even if she's a total whino. :P

12. Some people have a keen grasp of the obvious. Overheard after the wedding: "Did you notice how both of the brides have tattoos all over their arms?" Fuck, if the multiple bride thing didn't scandalize you, the ink seems minor.

13. DUers should get married more often. That was really, really, really fun.

4. LOL! I heard I missed the public drunkenness in the halls of the hotel.

That must have been about the time I was pouring myself into bed....after downing at least a gallon of water to head off any hangover. Must have worked. I was fine the next day, if a wee bit tired. I don't even remember my plane lifting off.

I learned a few things too.

1. It doesn't matter whether you use Googlemaps, Yahoomaps or Mapquest. Directions are awesome until the very last direction to any location in New Jersey. This type of online "help" will send you left if you need to go right and right if you need to go left. Is this some kind of in-state joke?

2. Haruka must have been a very easy child to raise because her mom does indeed look 35.

3. LostinVA's family is an absolute hoot and her dad still owes me the instructions for ordering peaberry coffee. I hope I spelled that right.

4. LostinVA is without a doubt the most nervous bride I've ever had. In a totally adorable way. And she has great taste in shoes.

5. LynneSin, LeftyMom and Starbucks Anarchist make great table mates. Not a single one of them commented on the number of trips I made to the bar....or the bathroom.

6. You should always have one Republican at a table full of progressives. Adds to the fun.

7. If LeftyMom suffers brain damage and ever decides to get married I could probably brave a plane ride to California. I've got enough valium left in the bottle.
