1. I'm hoping that the clock will run out on the Bush administration
regarding war with Iran. We've all known that they wanted it since the beginning. Hopefully they'll run out of time and a new American leader will inject some sanity into our foreign policy. But I do agree, it is scary.

2. Don't be.
Whatever happens happens, and for each day when something disastrous appears to happen, there's always a piece of news somewhere that contradicts.

Things will work out.

Seriously.

4. I imagine that there will be a military action
against Iran

not because of nuclear weapons although that will be the story.

But rather because of their OIL!

They will be hit in a way that is designed to oust the current regime

we know how well that worked in Iraq :eyes:

I don't know that the next administration... be they dem or republican are not going to support this.

The wars of the future will be Oil wars

yes, I'd buy water and soup

always a good idea to have a supply laid up for the event of an emergency.

not for this issue

but we know the feds can't respond to an emergency for about at least a week

and we know that in the event of widespread chaos, there might not be an organized fed to respond to an emergency

no tinfoil needed

this is DHS recommended stuff

5. What are the UN troops for?
I thought that if there was a problem with a country that endangered the world, the UN was supposed to handle it and send in their troops if necessary. It seems that the UN is not really good for much.

6. I think America is the only country endangering the world right now
I haven't been following the news too closely lately, but I'm guessing that the UN doesn't see a need for troops in Iran.
