Anyone else just hear about "College Hill"?

BET has entered the fray of "reality" programming with this.. Based on an interview that CNN just did, I have some serious doubts about this..

First off.. I am NOT black...but I REALLY do have many black friends, and I am embarrassed for them when I see crap like this..

One of the "highlights" of this show (giggle-giggle) is a college sophomore who is pregnant and "trying to figure out who's the father of her baby".. EXCUSE MEEEEEE.. How can BET even think of putting on crap like this.. It only feeds the stereotype and makes these young people look terrible..

If they really wanted a college reality show, how about taking a video group to Howard or Grambling or ANY state college and look for kids who are actually studying and working, and at least trying to present a favorable image..

This whole "GirlsGoneWild meets COPS" programming SUCKS..

I may be off base here, but this does nothing to change any stereotypes, and only reinforces what the rightwingers WANT the image of minorities to be..
