Nelson DeMille Fans
Just finished "The Lion's Game" tonight and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the main character, John Corey. I've read "Spencerville" and "The Charm School" and also liked those. So, what do I read next? I have "Plum Island" and "Up Country" sitting here. I realize I should have read Plum before Lion, but oh well...

Does DeMille feature John Corey in any of his other books?

3. John Corey is featured in Plum Island.
Plum Island is better, IMO, than The Lion's Game.

The character in Up Country is the same as the one in The General's Daughter.

5. There were Plum Island references in Lion's Game
So I assumed he was featured in that one.

Did anyone notice the part when John and Kate are flying to California and he says something about the inflight movie being something where John Travolta plays an Army CID guy. I laughed hard at that one. I thought it was funny.

6. Yeah.
That's a definite General's Daughter reference. Maybe he was pissed off at the fact that the movie was so different from the book. If I were an author, that would piss me off.
