I'd get the "Fight Terrorism" one only if I could have something like "MPCH W" put on it. :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

1. The best license plate I've ever seen...
had a Bush/Cheney '04 bumper sticker under it. The plate itself?

WISDUMB. Of course I interpreted it differently than I believe they intended... ;)

3. Are those the Twin Towers, encircled by the Pentagon, in the terrorism design?

Good Christ. Nothing like exploiting 911 to keep the people afraid and divert attention away from the fact that WE are the ones waging war against a country which didn't attack us first, and couldn't have even if they wanted to.

You could still get the terrorism plate and just write "impeach Bush" in permanent marker on the side. Or put little arrows pointing down, and an "Impeach Bush" bumpersticker underneath. Or put one of those round stickers with "W" in a circle and a line through it, over the Pentagon graphic.

That's what I would do.

8. Yes, those are the towers
Sickening, isn't it? I'll have to keep an eye out for these on the roads and roll my window down so the barf can exit the car instead of soiling the interior.

7. That was one of the things we got in our new lawyer goody bags at the swearing-in
An application for that plate. I didn't get one. I'm not even practicing - I really have an aversion to practicing law in this state. I suppose I should fight the system, but my heart isn't in it.

11. That's good.
Too many lawyers in the state anyway.

I graduated from South Texas in the 80s and never could pass the bar -- I don't know why. I was a court reporter/legal secretary, and knew tons of law. Dad was a lawyer. I grew up reading pleadings and advance sheets of Southwestern Reporters.

Now I'm glad I am not practicing. I can't even get a paralegal job,and it's not what I really wanted to do with my life. I did it because I wanted to be like dad.

Law schools should teach a class in what to do with a law degree besides practice law. It's a broad background that is good for a lot of other things. They never talk about that.

12. The bar exam is CRAP
It took me 3 times before I passed. I really think that's enough for me, for now. Of course, we're thinking of moving to California maybe next year, and I just got some CA bar materials to start studying for their ridiculously hard exam.

I agree that law schools should teach that, too.

5. My BMV sells license plate frames...
I think they're stupid to begin with, but the BMV here sells them. A few are sports teams, NASCAR crap, and the rest are Xtian stuff, like "have a blessed day"... It's been a few months, so I forget the rest, but should have written them down. So, they can do THAT, but there's no way for "motor/voter" to be practical?

I've got no use for the place now.

10. I've never had a use for it
Have been here two years now and can't get out fast enough. I'm hoping in a few months Mr. DTBK will get a job in CA so we can be out of here. Of course, will our house ever sell?

13. The worst are the Indiana fucking shitbags "Pro Life" plates.
That shouldn't even be legal, IMO.

But then, Indiana is a fucking shithole theological backwater.

15. So I've heard
We have friends in Carmel, Indiana, and I haven't spent any time in the state except when we were visiting them (and when we moved to Pittsburgh from Wichita, we overnighted in Indy).
