I like Vista but love Office.

But I hope Vista SP1 improves on the memory usage... (600MB for itself is bad) At a 1GB download, I'm a bit lukewarm too...

4. Until my Daughter stops telling me how much VISTA sucks

I won't be appreciating it. She asked it she could trade me her new Compaq Vista premium laptop rocket for a Dell XP portable. Her point was well taken, where are the Vista games?? What decade are they coming. Dad, is this going to be as bad as Windows Me?


I have one Office 2003 license left, I may take her up on it.


Oh yeah, almost forgot, our CFO hates Office 2007. I installed it to use him as the test rabbit. Had to add another Gig of memory to make up for the huge sucking sound it created on his computer. But he's kinda of a tech dinosaur, he likes his IPhone a lot. Nice pretty pictures while he falls asleep.
