Does DU have a pet curse?

Lately DUers' pets have been dying like all get out.

I've lost 2 cats myself, last one 3 years ago.

Just tonight someone lost their cherished dog, and another lost a beloved cat.
And it's only Wednesday. :shrug:

2. the loss of pets is one of the things that really gets to me.

i had two dogs -- a number of years ago now -- but Sport, the big dog, was the very heart of me.

life just hasn't been as good without him.

8. it's been a shitty week, that's for sure.

I'm just hoping that our newly only pet will not get lonely and die too. I've been trying to keep her busy, but it's hard with the BB too. Gonna take her swimming today I think.
