A butterfly has taken nighttime refuge in my house!

It was on the slider screen door, and when I opened the door, it flew in. Poor little tired thing.
It's now "sleeping" on a wall in my house.


These are the butterflies that have been around here lately, mostly in the morning.

I'm not sure how you could capture it without hurting it...

But it does need to get back outside soon...

2. Since it was almost 10 pm when it flew in

am thinking tonight would not be the time to get it to put it outside.

Could be it's on it's downside of its short life.

5. I'll use a clear plastic cup and a note card

to capture it in the AM so I can release it to the morning sun.

When it came in, it flew in a circle then landed on my arm, then took off.

I just looked and it's flown off somewhere.... Poor thing.

I'll find it. Just don't want to send it out into the dark tonight.
