I heard it can be done and I want to do it.

3. About a month ago anothe DUer explained how to record machine to machine --
and then they pm'd me. Only I lost the correspondence. Thanks for the help, though. And maybe I am thick but I dont understand the joke you made in the first post.

4. are they both networked?
The only way I know how to do it is with series 2 tivo networked.

5. sex joke :) I would guess though to record from one to another
You may be able to hook up both to the tv and specify the input to record from (like Aux Channel, etc)
