1. Best pic will be lost in translation or Mystic River

LOTR and Seabiscuit won't get any play by the Academy voters, and I'm not sure about M & C, although I heard that reviewed badly, so I'm a bit confused.

3. I hope Mystic River wins but

It'll be LOTR, third time's the charm. Although many people in DU from the other oscar thread are glad Nicole Kidman was not nominated, I thought COld Mountain was a beautiful well made and acted film. i can live with Nicole with no nod but I thought CM should've made the list.
