it's one thing to post about oneself, but posting about minor children, even your own, seems a little unfair to them if and when you pick up a stalker psycho crazy

when i post about others i try to disguise the information in some way that it can't get back to them

it seems the persons most likely to be harmed by this stalker will be your kids

and that has to be most stressful both for you and for them

the 16 yr old won't always be 16 and it seems unfair to have information about teen drug use in the public eye

my take home is- you know your mother is a blogger. don't give her anything to post about!

i did not wish to be outed in the first place. someone told me that was a violation of bloggers.com terms of service, but i couldn't find it. would have been happy to turn them in.
it does make me nervous. he has posted video of himself trespassing on people's property. i see him on mine, and i am calling 911 in a blink. touch, physically or otherwise, my kid? you do not want to know.

8. How did this asshole track you down?

I've sort of (that is, only about 40% in practice :shrug:) adopted a policy of only posting publicly online what I wouldn't mind saying aloud in the workplace. It's a shame that opportunistic assholes would run around using online quote-mining as a means of attack.

10. i do have a bad case of - fuck you, you can't scare me.

it hasn't gotten me in anything bigger than i can handle yet, but i suppose it will. i was tracked down because i was at a community meeting and "shouted down" this clowns's buddy. they posted the video, howard dean style, and someone recognized me.
he already had it in for me, as i stuck up for my alderman in the last election. this board was dripping with lies, as it is now. i just have such a hard time letting shit like that go.
