Can I get some help with a rather arcane disagreement about the Necronomicon.
(spoiler alert) The grimoire asks for a sacrifice when casting certain spells. Does that mean, like giving up my favorite dessert for a month?

1. Ya know, I'd do my best to help you out,
if I had some idea what you were talking about. Honest.

2. Probably my worst attempt at a copycat thread ever.
The word arcane, plus a couple of other threads mentioning witches led me down this path.

5. It's really quite simple
What part of "Do not call up Any that you can not put downe" don't you understand?

(Not a lame copycat at all, by the way; IMO the pairing of "arcane" and "the Necronomicon" was quite artful.)

6. That depends which dimensions you're dealing with.
Time doesn't move the same way in all of them, so for some it might be a more than a month, for some less.

FYI though, if you come to any passage regarding 'Deep Ones', just leave it be man. Seriously, just leave it be. Those NEVER end well.

7. Oh, yeah - I remember when I summoned my first Old One.
It gets no less dangerous over time, but it does become easier.
