The whole idea sounds like a pile of shit to me, and the controversies are blowing up in the network's face.

1. Nope. The kids running that network need only promote ideas for shows,
and that's when people will turn them off.

3. I was going to check it out, until I started reading some of the stories
about the controversies. Now, I think I'll pass.

4. It sounds like "Lord of the Flies" on TV.
The book is always better.

10. Didn't know what it was, just checked..
And nah i'm definitely not going to watch it. I'd probably tune in once just to see what it was like, but I'm not going to have a TV when it premiers anyways. But! Can anybody fill me in on these controversies? Thanks!

11. I was excited about it until I read all the controversy.
I was interested in seeing how children worked their own society. It could go two ways - Lord of the Flies or (what I was hoping for) was a society with a sense of fairness and equality. Kids can amaze you with their sense of idealism and fairness. The fact that the network has totally stripped these kids of their rights makes me sick. What a let down.
