They've hired a new (fresh out of school) accountant here at work. He's smart but lacks experience. He's made some mistakes that are whoppers and I keep getting chewed out for them. I'm trying desperately to do my job and follow behind him every step of the way. I can't. I'm busy getting 5 restaurants open by the end of the year. I'm too nice. I'm too tired. I'm afraid they're going to fire me. I need a vacation. I need a nap. I desperately wish I had someone to lean on in real life. I hate feeling so very alone here.

I used to say that which does not kill me, makes me stronger. (Then I'd wonder just how fucking strong was I suppose to be...) You are a lovely soul. Hang in there the best you can. When it gets too tough, let yourself take a break. Draw a hot bath, be kind to yourself. When you are restored, head back to the good fight.

I'm hoping that this will blow over. I'm so hyper-sensitive to people and situations. To much an empath. I would never want to go back to the disaster that was my marriage, but I also never believed how hard it is to make it on your own in this country, this economy and with my personality.
