4. aluminum?
hell they strip it off the first time you leave the house...aluminum is the best, easy repaint, but it`s got to cost a fortune, i`m guessing over 6,000 installed where you are at....

About $6k. 5 years ago.

Edited to add that it was vinyl. Not aluminuminum...

FYI... the spell check doesn't catch "aluminuminum"

7. Get fiber cement, not aluminum or vinyl
Aluminum dents, chalks and fades. You can paint it.

Vinyl fades, plus it is fairly easy to punch holes in it. You can't paint it, and if you decide to change your house color you would need to.

Fiber cement is fireproof (some insurers will lower your premium if you install it), durable once it's up, absolutely rotproof, holds paint well, and it looks better than either of the other two. Plus it's easy to install if you have a helper. P-mail me and I'll tell you how to put it on your home.
