Going "home" to Texas from the stunningly beautiful Bay Area. CRAPPITY CRAP CRAP CRAP! At least I get to see my beloved kitties, as well Mr. DTBK on Thursday, whom I have not laid eyes on since July 30th.

That's exactly what I thought When I got off our bus at Heathrow Terminal 2 on the 11th.

Those of you who have been through Heathrow know what I mean.

They do have great security, though. At least their measures make sense, as opposed to ours. Are you happy to be coming home?

4. I've been back for over a week.

I'd be looking for a job, but I have to get my car fixed first.

What irks me is that I won't be able to see my friends very much this year. Everyone seems so excited to be going back to classes, while I have to find work.

I almost wish I opted to do one more semester instead of going abroad. There's a girl there I have a major crush on.

I plan all travel around that simple truth... I only do those airports when actually going to Britain.

7. Heathrow -

don't you just love the mad dash from the Terminal 4 to Terminal 1? Or vice versa, as the case may be. It's one of the few airports where I consider a 3 hour layover barely enough time to make a connection.
